Erasmus+ Didactic Bricks: gradniki za sodobno, aktivno in trajnostno učenje

V okviru strokovnega srečanja srednjih šol 9. februarja 2026 je bil poseben poudarek namenjen predstavitvi Erasmus+ projekta Didactic Bricks, ki učiteljem ponuja sodoben, praktičen in prilagodljiv nabor orodij za načrtovanje pouka in projektnega dela na področju trajnostnega razvoja.

Projekt Didactic Bricks temelji na ideji didaktičnih »gradnikov«, ki učiteljem omogočajo, da iz različnih metod, vsebin in dejavnosti sestavljajo učne aktivnosti glede na cilje, starost učencev, predmetno področje in kontekst šole. V ospredju so teme, povezane z okoljem, trajnostjo, naravo, vodo, podnebnimi spremembami, aktivnim državljanstvom in sodelovalnim učenjem.

Osrednji rezultat projekta je spletna platforma Didactic Bricks, na kateri so zbrani:

  • didaktični pristopi in metode,
  • konkretne učne aktivnosti,
  • pedagoški viri in primeri dobrih praks,
  • predlogi za medpredmetno in projektno delo.

Posebna dodana vrednost platforme je njena večjezičnost, saj so vsebine na voljo v več evropskih jezikih, kar omogoča široko uporabo v različnih državah ter spodbuja mednarodno sodelovanje in izmenjavo.

Predstavitev projekta je bila tesno povezana s praktičnim delom udeležencev, ki so v nadaljevanju srečanja tudi sami delali v manjših skupinah. Učitelji so z uporabo didaktičnih gradnikov načrtovali nove učne aktivnosti, jih prilagajali svojemu predmetu in šolskemu okolju ter razmišljali o tem, kako lahko trajnostne teme še bolj učinkovito vključijo v pouk.

Skupinsko delo je pokazalo, da projekt Didactic Bricks učiteljem ne ponuja le že pripravljenih rešitev, temveč jih spodbuja k ustvarjalnosti, sodelovanju in soustvarjanju novih vsebin. Izmenjava idej med udeleženci je dodatno potrdila, da so tovrstna orodja dragocena podpora učiteljem pri razvijanju sodobnih, aktivnih in vključujočih učnih pristopov.

Projekt Didactic Bricks tako pomembno prispeva k opolnomočenju učiteljev ter krepitvi kakovosti izobraževanja na področju trajnosti, hkrati pa dokazuje, kako lahko mednarodni Erasmus+ projekti konkretno obogatijo vsakdanje delo v šolah.

Erasmus+ Didactic Bricks: building bricks for modern, active and sustainable learning

As part of the professional meeting of secondary schools, special attention was given to the presentation of the Erasmus+ project Didactic Bricks, which offers teachers a modern, practical and flexible set of tools for planning lessons and project-based learning in the field of sustainable development.

The Didactic Bricks project is based on the concept of didactic “building blocks” that enable teachers to combine different methods, content and activities according to learning objectives, students’ age, subject areas and the specific context of their school. The project focuses on themes related to environment, sustainability, nature, water, climate change, active citizenship and collaborative learning.

The main outcome of the project is the Didactic Bricks online platform, which brings together:

  • teaching approaches and methods,
  • concrete learning activities,
  • pedagogical resources and examples of good practice,
  • ideas for interdisciplinary and project-based work.

A key added value of the platform is its multilingual availability, as the materials are accessible in several European languages. This enables wide use across different countries and supports international cooperation and exchange among educators.

The presentation of the project was closely linked to hands-on work by the participants. In the second part of the meeting, teachers worked in small groups, using the didactic building blocks to design new learning activities, adapt them to their own subjects and school environments, and reflect on how sustainability topics can be more effectively integrated into everyday teaching.

The group work demonstrated that Didactic Bricks does not merely offer ready-made solutions, but actively encourages creativity, collaboration and co-creation among teachers. The exchange of ideas further confirmed that such tools provide valuable support for educators in developing modern, active and inclusive teaching approaches.

The Didactic Bricks project therefore makes an important contribution to empowering teachers and improving the quality of education for sustainable development, while also highlighting how Erasmus+ projects can meaningfully enrich everyday teaching practice in schools.
